Tiramisù is the quintessential Italian dessert that has become famous all over the world. Let's discover lemon tiramisù, a fresh citrus version that's perfect for summer!
Let's start preparing our lemon tiramisù. First place the Virgilio mascarpone in a bowl and beat with a spatula to soften. In another bowl, whip the cream with the sugar. Add the cream and sugar mixture to the mascarpone a little at a time, folding in with a spatula to combine the two. Add the grated lemon zest and mix in. Transfer to a disposable piping bag without nozzle and refrigerate.
Now prepare the soaking liquid for the lady fingers: place the lemon juice, sugar and water in a bowl and mix well. Now you need 4 single-portion glasses or moulds. Dip the lady fingers quickly in the liquid and start layering them, breaking them to fit your containers. Use the piping bag to add a layer of cream. Repeat the layers until your moulds are full. Finish with more cream and decorate with cocoa powder and mint leaves.
Refrigerate for about an hour before serving. Your lemon tiramisù is ready to be enjoyed.
